How can I revive my dying Christmas Tree? I have a Balsam Fir.?

You can't revive it, just replace it. Get rid of that dying Christmas tree or you may end up with a fire.

How can I revive my dying Christmas Tree? I have a Balsam Fir.?
When did you buy it?

When did you put it up?

When was it cut?
Reply:There are really no easy solutions. Sap has probably clogged the stump which will keep the tree from getting water. I would call a tree farm and ask what you could add to the water. The stump needs to be trimmed back. Since the tree is decorated I'm guessing. use a turkey baster and suck all the water out of the tree stand and add very hot water to try and dissolve the sap. I water my tree with hot water every couple days.
Reply:Dry trees are a fire hazard. You should probably take it down.

Before you do that, you might want to try phoning your local nursery or wherever you bought the tree and see if they have any suggestions. They may also give you a deal on a replacement as they may be stuck with overstock.
