One was planted a few years ago and they have since multiplied and grow like weeds through out the spring and summer. They are taking over my garden!
I have balsam plants growing all over my garden and do not know how to get rid of them. Any ideas?

Repeated pulling or cutting of the plant before it sets seed can be a successful means of eradication if carried out over several years.
Spraying herbicides during spring is also an efficient treatment.
Reply:just pull them up... the roots are only in the top inch of the soil...
