My skin is sensitive to shaving?

Help me please... Since I shave I keep on getting stupid red spots, and now I have more than in my teens.

I tried balsam instead of the lotion, but it didn't help. What can I do?

My skin is sensitive to shaving?
Get a shower mirror and shave in the shower. Mix a little bit of shaving lotion in with your shaving cream, and then apply. Above all, be sure to use a good razor. Spend the extra money for one of those good steel blades, it will be well worth it.
Reply:I too have this problem and I am in my 40s. Try using a good quality hair conditioner instead of shaving cream. A Dr. recommended this to me and I have had good luck with it for a year now.
Reply:Try a woman's shaving cream like Skintimate and warm it before shaving. Also might try soaking your face - really, really wet or shaving right after the shower so your hair isn't quite as stiff.

My husband uses this and his co-workers love the way he smells, too - seriously.
Reply:Make sure you disinfect your razor with rubbing alcohol before each use, a dirty razor could be your problem.
Reply:Although you are a guy, try an intuition razor and use a warm shaving gel.
Reply:try soaking your skin in water before you shave and use a shave gel for sensitive skin or try that veet no razor shaver.
