What Shampoos and Conditioners are great for curly/wavy hair???

I heard that Pantene is horrible for your hair becouse of the wax. My mom usally buys the cheap dollar store brands, like this conditioner brand called "Hairvitalize Balsam and Protein". Is that bad? Can someone give me some cheap cheap cheap shampoos and conditioners that will work for my hair and not do anything bad to it???

The Ingrediendts in it are: Water, Cetyl alchohol, stearyl alscohol, stearalkonium chloride, glycerin, balsam canada, fragrance, disodium EDTA, citric acid, preservative, permitted FD%26amp;C colors.

Get the Sunsilk (green bottle) from Walmart! Even better, and cheaper (by volume) is the TRESemme Curl Moisturizing. I use both those brands, both cheap and available just about anywhere. Trust me, I have naturally curly hair and I'm 31, so I've been dealing with it for years! I use a curling creme too (again, Sunsilk 24/7 creme) and a leave in conditioner (spray). I dry it with a diffuser, and once it's dry, I keep my hands out of it! I get compliments on my hair every single day. Good luck with it! If you know how to take care of it, you'll be envied, trust me!
Reply:You don't want to use alcohol on your hair if you don't have to. Also, I wouldn't keep using the cheap brand if you don't like it. Wal-Mart carries a pretty good cheap brand called TresEme (I'm not sure if that is how it's spelled). It comes in a black bottle and I think they have special products for dry, curly hair. Just be sure that you always use conditioner. I also like to finish up with curling mousse.
Reply:i've used pantene for years... never had any of those issues...

i still suggest pantene "hydrating curls" shampoo and conditioner.

and most shampoos have those ingredients.

you should read the food labels... you'd freak! chemicals are everywhere, we soak in them.. drink them.. eat them... produce waste product full of chemicals.. so on.

if you're worried about the chemicals in products we don't put into our bodies... you should really worry about the chemicals we put INTO our bodies.

:D
Reply:try the curl line from Matrix or Redken... they're a little pricey, but you get what you pay for... they're definitely worth it... try to find these brands at your local salons...
Reply:Try Curl Conscious from Bumble and Bumble.
