i just dyed my hair yesterday w/ clairol balsam something n it didnt turn out how i wanted it to so when can i dye it again??? is a week too soon??
When can i dye my hair again???
I've actually died my hair the same day after an "oopsy" result. Just make sure that you pick a colour that is darker than the one you didn't like. And condition A LOT!
Have you thought that it might just need to have a different rinse put on? My "oopsy" created a slight tinge of red to my hair. I have heard that this can be "neutralized" by using a green rinse. Which would be available at specialty beauty shops.
Reply:Just dye it and use lots of conditioner afterwards.
I know people who have bleached their hair 3 times in one night and it's still been fine. I know it depends on your hair but unless you get a really crap dye you'll be fine
Reply:Just for good measure, give it two weeks, and use some really good conditioner!
Cheers
Reply:After every 02 weeks
Reply:yea a week is too soon... i dyed my hair and it didnt turn out so i dyed it a week later and it did not work.... so i tried it 3 weeks later... it worked a little but WAIT till its been in about a month..... i know that you want to dye it sooner but it most likely will not work all the way ... hope this helps!
Reply:wait few weeks atleast
Reply:hey hun,
I had the same problem about a month ago... my hair went orange lol... I dyed it a week after. ummm you will have to buy a damaged hair repairing mask and a conditioner for dry and damaged hair! the shampoos and conditioners for coloured hair only make the colour more vibrant they do protect the hair but not as much as shampoo and conditioner for dry and damaged hair. make sure it is the color u want! first do a strand test cuz then u wont b messing up your whole hair agen! and try apply the hair mask once or twice a week after that! also if you swim alot get a water resistant protective hair mask and apply it before.
hope this helps goodluck!
Reply:i have redied my hair within a few days, because i didn't like it, just make sure you condition it really good, with a good conditioner from a beauty store from some place liker sally's beauty store. good luck!
Reply:try asking a person who cuts hair... i never died my hair so i don't know much, but i think you need at least a month... because if you take it out for a week you'll fry your hair.
Reply:you should re-dye your hair but this try to get somebody at a salon should do it. Or pull out your hair your self.
Reply:DO NOT touch your own hair. Put yours hands and over-the-counter products down. Go quickly to the phone. Make an appointment at the nearest reputable hair salon and let the professionals repair the damage. This will be money well spent. You can avoid a mirror but your friends and family have to look at you 24/7.
Reply:you should wait a week or two - if it's something you absolutely can't live with, consider a temporary colour, so that you're doing less damage in the interim.
Reply:you can only dye your hair every six months.
Reply:What you need to do is wash your hair good mix in the shampoo + conditioner and rinse out good so more easily will the colour start to fade. Keep washing and rinsing about 2-3 weeks then you will be able to colour your hair again. Try and get the colour you want this time :)
Reply:ya! .u ..can ..for..more information check out the below mentioned website...i think it will help u...
Reply:Let me ask you this first...did it not turn out a shade you liked or is it red (or) orange and did you lighten or darken your hair. These are all important. If it just didn't turn out the right shade you can usually dye again a couple of days later as long as your hair feels healthy. However if you hair is red/ orange, or looks brassy stop now and go to the salon. It's impossible to get a color from the at home if you have red undertones. * It took me two years of dying at home to find this out* If you lighten your hair and it's too light you can dye again in a few days just pick two shade higher. If you darken it wait a few days to wash some of the color out and let it fade. It might turn out to be the color you wanted. Every time you wash your hair make sure to use a good thick conditioner and leave it in a few minutes before rinsing this will help restore the oils in your hair which is essential
